Our client is seeking the services of Process Engineers to join their dynamic team in the Gladstone region.

Reporting to the Site Technical Manager your role responsibilities will include:
• Being responsible for the identification and setting of short-medium operational parameters for the manufacturing plants to maintain optimal and safe operation;
• Providing input into the daily production and loss reporting and take the lead in identifying, measuring and prioritising activities that assist in our client meeting their safety and compliance targets;
• Providing personal leadership on safety issues by leading investigations into unusual incidents and development and delivery of Basis Safety models;
• Ensuring plant integrity and SH&E risk are minimised;
• Optimising manufacturing performance by providing data based operating envelops together with corrective actions in the event of excursions outside these envelopes;
• Transferring and providing technical support to plant technicians and other personnel;
• Lead the development and introduction of new capital expenditure projects.
• Provide support to technical activities performed for the Front End and back End operations of the plant.

We would be pleased to receive your application should you possess:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering;
• At least 2+ years’ experience working in the chemical manufacturing industry;
• Prior experience identifying and implementing change management processes;
• Strong safety improvement focused background;
• Experience in manufacturing plant optimisation projects;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

This is a residential role based in the Gladstone region, Central Queensland. Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate should you reside outside of the Gladstone region.
