Due to internal restructuring and staff movements, our Client is currently looking for a Head of Sales based in Perth. Reporting to the CEO, this position oversees all sales activity for the company across four sales groups including Maintenance/Operations, Projects, After Market Sales and Technical Specifications. The company is a very well established manufacturer and distributor of equipment to the mineral processing industry throughout Australia. The equipment is used is wet processing operations and includes pipes, hoses, valves and controllers for slurry transportation around the processing plant through to tailings.

Key Responsibilities
• Identifying new business growth, developing strategies and plans and increasing business client base
• Establish the inbound lead requirements to achieve company sales goals
• Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for sales leaders, business development managers and upper management for use in organisational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
• Maintain a current knowledge and understanding of current and future mining projects and determine which organisations mining companies may utilise for design and construct projects
• Become a subject matter expert in relation to company products and solutions it can provide whilst also solving problems by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
• Manage and coach sales and business development individuals in relation to sales processes and provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
• Follow industry trends locally and internationally providing consultative advice to business leaders about current and future technology in the mineral processing area

Key Criteria
• Extensive sales management experience across multiple divisions preferably in the EPC/EPCM mineral processing product manufacturing and distribution area
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Solid existing relationships within the Australian mining operations and contractor industry nationally
• Extensive technical knowledge of mineral processing/wet plant products, equipment and processes
• Proven business growth success
• Transparent communication, good negotiation and influencing skills
